Lori asked:

I have three Senior dogs they have elevated kidney values I wish to keep them normal or as close to normal as possible do you have any lower phosphorus treats and dog food.

Barbara’s reply:

Hi Lori, thanks for your email.

I’m sorry to hear that your dogs all have kidney issues.  I think it’s odd that all 3 of them have the same problem.  Has your vet indicated what the issue might be?  Is if food related?  What are you currently feeding?

With all three dogs having a kidney issue my suggestion it is the food.  It might not me the natural potassium in the ingredients, but the extra that they put in.  With all the additives, preservatives and synthetic ingredients added to commercially produced food, that might be the problem.  All that stuff makes up for using substandard meat products.

We only use 100% human grade ingredients.  No additives, preservatives, colouring, flavouring, supplements or synthetic ingredients.  We use minimal processing and preservation techniques.  You’ll notice the difference in the food with you dogs’ first poops!

If you check out our website, each of our products shows the label underneath.  They all have potassium listed, except kangaroo.  I’m not sure why potassium is not on the kangaroo label!  Based on my online research of potassium content in meat, kangaroo is about the same as beef.  Makes sense since it is a red meat!
